Brilliant!! I say! Brilliant!!!! This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending "Avoid the Grey 2012," where edgy fashion design, meets art installation. The scene resembled a peep show. Looking back in history, a peep show could be a wooden box with a hole or several holes, containing a set of pictures which the show-man could set into a viewing position by pulling a corresponding string. The boxes were often decorated inside to resemble theatrical scenes. In this case, at "Avoid the Grey" the wooden boxes were 8 foot by 8 foot, and contained elaborately decorated models who were proudly showing off daring fashion designs, and set in various story-telling scenes. Delayna Sundberg of Cliche , and all who helped out the the production, accomplished great success in breaching the Art/Fashion conceptual world.
